who am i? why should you care?

with that out of the way… i’m going to go ahead and post music i like on this site on a semi-regular basis. it probably won’t be new, or rare, and it certainly won’t be exclusive because i’m not that cool. it’s likely i will be too lazy to even include any sort of journalistic comments in most posts. so back to the top… why should you care? you shouldn’t. but i’m going to do it anyway… so you can care about it if your so inclined.

i’m going to start off with a new track from one of my favorite artists of the past few years, soltero (his mom probably calls him tim howard). if you aren’t familiar with tim’s music, i would suggest you remedy that as soon as possible. some guy on amazon wrote a guide to soltero’s catalog that should serve as a great starting point for the uninitiated.
this track is from the forthcoming album, you’re no dream, which promises to continue tim’s string of ever improving output. tim recently revealed that the album would be available this march, courtesy of la societe expeditionnaire . sure this pisses me off… he’s been teasing us with promises of the album’s release since last spring. but at least its getting a proper release and we have a firm date to patiently await.
