tickets went on sale last friday for what i think will be one of the best shows of the summer… r.e.m. with modest mouse and the national! they’ll be playing at merriweather june 11 and i’ll definitely be there. i wanted to put up some r.e.m. covers today, but i can’t seem to find that live version of stipe singing radiohead’s “lucky” at the moment. i’ll keep searching my hard drive and maybe post that and one or two others later on. in the meantime, here’s some covers from opening act the national.
