i ended up having to go to the hospital a couple weeks ago for some shit. it wasn’t much fun, but it turned out to be not a big deal… until i had to pay the bill today! that almost hurt as bad as the thing that sent me to the hospital in the first place. i’ve been without insurance for a while now, so i was kind of expecting it, but even so when i saw the bill i felt a bit like ben folds, “i need a second opinion… i can’t believe that it’s truueeeeeeeee.”
there’s not much to “hospital song”, 2 minutes long, maybe 4 or 5 lines of lyrics, but there’s something in those 2 minutes that always has me coming back for more. in fact, i just listened to it 5 times in a row and i could probably keep going if i wanted.
in other shitty news for today, i’ve had this 7″ i’ve been meaning to rip for like 2 weeks now and i finally went to do it earlier and somehow managed to destroy the power supply for my mixer in the process (my choice of verbs there should give you a hint to the 7″ i’m talking about). i’ve got to reorder the cord from europe from what i can tell… so i’m pretty pissed about that and i’m blaming it on the song i was ripping for the moment. look for that following our eventual reconciliation though.
