so i’ve done two volumes of this “songs featuring felines” thing, but i’ve never actually had a feline of any sort. well… tomorrow that will change. we’re getting a kitten! i wasn’t too keen on the idea at first, but i guess i’m starting to come around. i don’t know what we’re gonna call it yet, though i’ve got plenty of great (unappreciated) ideas.

so i figured i should make a playlist to welcome the kitten home. unlike past volumes, several of these songs really don’t feature felines too much at all… they are simply songs that came up when searching for “cat” or “kitten” in my library. some contain an actual cat, others don’t… hopefully the kitten won’t mind. also, the various covers of “stray cat blues” had to have come from a covers blog at some point, though i don’t recall which. so thanks to [awesome blog person] for those.
