top 100 v3 countdown: top ten

so i’ve just finished the third revision of my top 100 albums list — which to avoid confusion/arguments is a personal selection, not an attempt at a best of all time list — and to build some interest/excitement in the list beyond myself and the 1-2 other people that have traditionally cared about this i’ve decided to do a ten day countdown leading up to my number 1 album choice, vh1 best [whatever] of [decade] style.
[100 - 91]
[90-81]
[80-71]
[70-61]
[60-51]
[50-41]
[40-31]
[30-21]
[20-11]
well here it goes… my top ten albums. everyone of these has profoundly impacted my life in one way or another. i know i’ve profusely written all of their praises here in the past, and i’m sure i will continue to do so in the future. in short, these albums are unforgettable.
the countdown has been fun and i think i’ll try to do it again next year for v4. until then you can check out the full list here and on last.fm …or as a pdf with the album art.

no arguments, good stuff. except for ” i think i’ll try to do it again next year for v4.” you’ve taken the top 100 list to a new level with the blog, and although obviously i think my list is superior, i’d like a little more vigor about the future of your list. come on, keep the data comin!
This is brilliant, finally a relevant list to fill in the blanks of my music collection
